Rosemary & David would like to welcome you to Brookfields. Our accommodation is all on the ground floor with a choice of a king size/twin or queen size double rooms, both have en-suite bathrooms. We cater for the less well-abled with our ramp access, wide doors and all ground floor accommodation. We also cater for families with young children with a cot, high chair, children's room and child's play area and multi swing. There are digital TV’s in both rooms and you can have shared use of our lounge.

We have spacious gardens and a large patio area so you can sit out and relax with a children's play area including a swings and slide area for the younger ones. All our duvets are non-feather and a choice of pillows. Further details of our rooms with photos and charges are on the Rate page.

Newton Poppleford is a quiet village about 3 miles from Sidmouth and 8 miles from Exmouth and Budleigh Salterton. It is about 10 minutes from Exeter Airport (few if any aircraft flying over) and about 20 minutes from the centre of Exeter. The East Devon Way is at the end of our drive for those who like walking. There are 2 pubs in the village which both do good food plus 2 very good restaurants as well as a Chinese take away that also does Fish & Chips. If you like eating outdoors you are may use our BBQ.

A full English cooked breakfast is available to suit you or an alternative continental style breakfast. We can cater for most special diets if advance notice is given.

Rosemary is a Registered Nurse and David a Chartered Accountant and we used to own and manage a nursing home, so we are also very experienced at helping to look after people in their latter years. As the building is virtually all on the ground floor it is very suitable for both the young and the old.

We have free wireless broadband for those of you who need email access, plus print and fax services. We do have a very friendly but large dog who loves children.
